A nice week ends with a lot of climbed routes. Geyikbayırı even Climbers Garden is still a beautiful place. All routes are well prodected, good assessed and all got on are short. Nothing more to say, we are happy!
Last day Dragon, my goodness!
One of the oldest sectors in Geyikbayırı. Still not polished but very hard. Hard assessed and also difficult to climb. The hard 6b+ was good to make, but now i’am „Schach matt“, like the routes name.
Nice Sector with fine routes, from time to time real nature. The whole group was tired today and the sun was quiet hot.
Barbarossa, it’s the winner.
We only did the warm up here. „Brio de Flamenco“ was really nice, even the grade in the guide book were too high. Perfect for the head.
Alaaddin is a beautiful sector. The grades are tough and sometimes really sharp, but it’s fun. „Iron Man“ and „Unbreakable“ are the stars in this sector. Both are hard, but realistic.
„Little Miss Sunshine“ 6b+, a new route of 2013 and the highlight this year in Turkey. Around 50 m, with 3 pitches. The first one a 5c for warm up. The second starts with a hard 6b+ and further several other difficult positions. Pictures of this day and the time in Greece following after this trip.
First day in Geyikbayırı. Welcome to the true world of climbing grades. Anyway, today climbing in Ottoman was fine and 6b for the first day quite good. The routes also well protected, but the space between the bolts are sometimes very far. Tomorrow we’ll check out if a 6c+ or 7a possible. In Greece it was…
